The story of David facing Goliath also exemplifies true courage; he trusted in God’s strength rather than his own. We need to remember that God’s presence is with us, just as He was with Joshua. This assurance empowers us to face our giants and obstacles with confidence, knowing that we are supported by an ever-present God who desires to give us strength.
