How wonderful and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in harmony.
— Psalm 133:1
Unity among believers is a central theme in Scripture, reflecting God's desire for His children to come together in harmony. The Bible teaches us that when we are united, we become a powerful testament to the love of Christ. In John, Jesus prayed for His followers to be one, just as He and the Father are one, emphasizing that our unity serves as a witness to the world (John 17:21). Furthermore, in Ephesians, Paul encourages us to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace, reminding us that we are all part of one body, called to work together for the glory of God (Ephesians 4:3-6). By fostering relationships built on love and understanding, we reflect the heart of God, who desires for us to live in peace with one another. As we strive for unity, we must remember that it is through Christ that we can overcome any barrier and truly become one.
