Submit to God and resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
— James 4:7
Spiritual attacks can often feel overwhelming, bringing doubt, fear, and confusion. During these times, it is crucial to remember the power of surrendering to God. When we resist the enemy by drawing near to God, we activate His promise of protection and peace. Just as the Apostle Paul encourages us to put on the armor of God, we must prepare ourselves spiritually to face these challenges (Ephesians 6:10-18). This armor includes faith, truth, and the Word of God, which serve as our greatest defenses. Additionally, when we feel weak, we can find strength in Christ, who reminds us that His grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). In times of spiritual warfare, we are called to seek refuge in prayer, allowing God to guide our paths and shield us from harm. By anchoring ourselves in His promises and staying connected to Him through prayer and scripture, we can emerge victorious over any attack.
