I lift my eyes to the mountains, seeking help; my help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth.
— Psalm 121:1-2
Moving can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming experience, but it also presents an opportunity for growth and renewal. In times of transition, we can find strength in God’s promise to be our ever-present help. Just as the Israelites relied on God’s guidance during their journey to the Promised Land, we too can trust that He will lead us to new experiences and blessings. Scripture teaches us that God has a plan for us, one that is filled with hope and a future. Whenever we feel anxious, we can remember that God cares for every detail of our lives (1 Peter 5:7). Our new surroundings can be a chance to deepen our relationships with others and to reflect His love in new communities. As we embark on this journey, let us hold onto the assurance that God goes before us, preparing the way and providing for our needs, wherever we may find ourselves (Jeremiah 29:11).
