Before we embark on our daily work, it’s essential to align our mindset with God’s purpose for us. The act of working, whether in a job or a home environment, is an opportunity to glorify God by doing our best. Colossians 3:23 reminds us that whatever we do, we should do it with all our heart, as if we are doing it for the Lord. This perspective transforms mundane tasks into acts of worship. Additionally, in Proverbs, we are taught that our plans prosper when we commit our work to the Lord (Proverbs 16:3). This means inviting Him into our daily responsibilities, acknowledging that He is the source of our strength and guidance. Moreover, Ephesians 2:10 emphasizes that we are created for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Therefore, as we pray before work, we should seek not only to fulfill our duties but also to be instruments of His love and grace in the lives of others.
